Everyone Should Have the Ability to Speak
The human being is a creature who longs for freedom. It is their right that no one has any say over their actions. Humans can cooperate, but stopping others for any reason is a crime.
However, in our societies, those in positions of authority are constantly attempting to interfere and influence the lives of those who report to them. The press, for example, faces numerous challenges in conveying the true picture of any event.
UNESCO makes recommendations on issues that journalists, reporters, and news anchors face. Following that, the United Nations General Assembly declared May 3rd to be International Press Freedom Day. The goal of commemorating this day is to ensure that everyone who works in the media has the freedom to express themselves freely, as well as to pay tribute to journalists who have died while on the job.
The press has a large influence on people's minds. A large portion of the world's population is now aware of the news. As a result, if the media provides incorrect information, whether intentionally or unintentionally, serious public tension can result. Political interference frequently influences the media.
Any interference with the right to free expression should be avoided on all platforms. In order to provide accurate and timely reporting to the public, the perpetrators should be imprisoned. Support the UN's stance and contribute to ensuring freedom of expression in countries, not just for the press but also for the general public.
